Malaysia Airlines is offering travelers super low airfares for bookings effective immediately till 23 January 2008 through its Call Centre, ticket offices and online.
These promotional offers, in line with the national carrier's promise of providing affordable airfares to Malaysians and tourists, are for both domestic and regional air travel on the national carrier's flights out of KL International Airport.
Customers can enjoy these fantastic low air fares for travel from 14 January to 31 March 2008 on domestic routes and from 9 January to 15 March 2008 for regional sectors.
Malaysia Airlines Commercial Director, Dato' Rashid Khan said, "Whether you're looking to travel to our ASEAN destinations or to the cities in our Indian and China network, we have something for everyone in our January 2008 offers. We also want to encourage more people to book online as it has never been easier, especially as we are advancing towards full electronic ticketing by this year.
"We invite our customers to grab this incredible opportunity to make their travel experience truly exciting. We also advice our customers to plan their travel well in advance now and purchase their tickets," he added.
The amazing rock-bottom one-way fares start from as low as RM39 for Malaysian domestic travel, RM 79 for ASEAN destinations, RM199 to China and RM399 to the Indian Sub-Continent.
Malaysian domestic air travelers have the opportunity now to grab low one-way fares like RM39 to Penang and Johor Bahru, RM49 to Alor Setar, Kuala Trengganu and Kuantan as well as RM69 to Kota Bahru and RM 89 to Langkawi valid for travel from Mondays through to Thursdays.
One-way economy class travel from KLIA to Kuching starts at RM79, RM129 to Sibu and Bintulu, RM139 to Miri and RM169 to Kota Kinabalu, valid for travel from Tuesdays through to Thursdays.
These domestic promotional fares are not available during certain blackout periods in February and March 2008.
For destinations in ASEAN countries, fares start from RM79 to Medan, RM99 to Yogyakarta --Malaysia Airlines' newest destination Indonesia, RM119 to Phuket, RM179 to Surabaya, RM219 to Jakarta, RM229 to Surabaya and Cebu, RM249 to Ho Chih Minh City, RM319 to Bandar Seri Begawan and RM349 to Yangoon.
Orient destination fares begin from as low as RM199 to Macau, RM329 to Hong Kong, RM489 to Xiamen and RM 599 to Shanghai.
Meanwhile for destinations in the Indian Sub-Continent, offers start from RM 399 to Chennai and Colombo, RM469 for flights to Hyderabad, RM499 to New Delhi and RM549 to Mumbai.
All promotional airfares are for one-way economy class travel on Malaysia Airlines and exclude fuel surcharge and other applicable surcharges.
