The Citrarasa 2008 ( Flavours of Malaysia ) is set to showcase and promote Malaysia's traditional fare throughout the month of June.

This home grown food and fruits festival is part of Colours of Malaysia 2008, and will take place in various states across Malaysia.

This is in conjunction with the arrival of the Colours of Malaysia convoy which was flagged off on the Colours of Malaysia 2008 launching on 24 May 2008.

Colours Of Malaysia 2008

Citrawarna or Colours of Malaysia is a showcase of Malaysia's best loved food and delicacies and vibrant street performances of music and dances.

It paraded Dataran Perdana in Putrajaya to mark its 10Th year celebration with a theme called The Flora and Fauna Kingdom of Malaysia.

This national-level parade was officiated by His Royal Highness, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Sultan Kedah along with Her Royal Highness Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Sultanah Kedah.

More then 50 000 spectators were mesmerised with the exciting memorable night of hi-tech visual displays and choreographed performances by the 1600 performers.

The event highlighted Malaysia's multi-faceted attractions much to the public pleasure.

The night's parade also featured both theatrical and street performances where as post event, the audiences were invited to join in the dancing and merry-making.
